This week we have been doing hook writing with me and my friends.

“Hurry up! Get in line!” Screeched the teacher as we all piled into the bus. The bus started with a big bang then  we headed off. I Glanced over at the window to see the beautiful sights. Our chattering made the bus sound  as loud as a cage of giant elephants. Suddenly silence fell over the bus,we were there.

Have you ever slept with the sharks before? That’s what we were planning to do at Kelly Tarlton’s. We stumbled in like a bunch of big fat rhinos. There stood a man with snowy white hair also wearing fine looking clothes with the politest smile. We went silent as he stood in front of us. He was so still he was a statue. “Hello class my name is Jacob” He announced with a bold voice. “Come this way” He said with a sway bellow voice. We walked in silence following him.

Thump! Thump! Our feet banged on the ground like a jumble of giant clashing boulders. The roof above us was a clear tank full of vicious sharks, deep-blue stingrays and cute jellyfish. A light blue shadow flicked by me. “What was that!”I said in shock but no one took any notice of me. I was the invisible man. We carried on down the huge hall.                                        

After we got into our sleeping bags we tried to fall asleep but the passing sharks kept throwing ghostly shadows that haunted the night. I couldn’t sleep. All I could think about was the shark tank braking and munching on us. Finally after a very long long night It was time to go home so we packed up and headed to the bus. GoodBye! 342 Thank You! We yelled and hopped into the bus.

This week we have been doing Multiplication facts. I did good for Mon and Tue but Wed I did not come to school and then I did good for Thus.

This is what I have been doing this week. We all had to find out how the name of our friend, Cyprus links to a whole lot of interesting other stuff. We used Storyboard That.
I like doing this as it makes me think hard and helps me know what Cyprus means in different times and places. When I looked for Cyprus I found a lot of things. It was really amazing. I hope that you like it. This is my work.

Myth Art 2017

Hello everyone!

Narrative writing

This week we have been doing narrative writing. This writing helped me remember how to spell words and where to put full stops and capital letters. This is what I have been doing.

The bad giant and the man

Bad giant lived in the woods a long time ago. There was a giant that drowned the town. He was alone so that made him very sad. He made his way to the town. He was very slow because he had trees in his feet but he kept on going on and on. He was so tired when he was close to the town. The big bad giant found the town but he was too tired to go further. He had to rest. After one day he got up and soon the giant was there. The giant was at the village. He was destroying all of the houses. All of the people wanted to get out of there because they did not want to get squashed by the giant. But there was one man that stood out. The man had a bow and some arrows. He shot the giant in the eye. “Awww” said the giant.

The bad giant ran because it was very sore in his eye. He would get revenge on him and the village. One year later the giant awoke from his sleep. He went to the village to get him out and to take over the town. The big bad giant got to the town and there was the man waiting for him. The man said to the giant, we need to be friends. So the giant said “yes”, now the town and the giant were friends. So they lived happily ever after.
